About this piece:
Reliquaries in Medieval Europe were containers for sacred relics, the bones and fragments of clothing of martyred saints among other objects. These were often displayed and venerated; the containers themselves were created by highly skilled craftsman and were works of art befitting their lofty purpose.
In my “reliquaries” I’m suggesting a special container for thing important to us from a lock of hair a “first day of school” photo or even the ashes of a departed loved one.
